Startup Shakeup’s Sarah joined Rural Women’s Awards Alumni Chair Catherine Marriott, Senior Policy Officer Lara McPherson, and the Victorian Rural Women’s Award finalists in Melbourne for a networking breakfast on International Women’s Day.
Winner of this year’s award is Kimberley Furness, from Strathfieldsaye, who is the Founder and Editor of OAK Magazine, a publication dedicated to female entrepreneurs and women in business in regional and rural Australia. Kimberley would like to grow her magazine to span print, digital and audio.
Congratulations to Kimberley and her fellow finalists Nikki Davey from Grown Not Flown (far left) and Deborah Bogenhuber from Food Next Door Co-op (far right), shown here with Victorian Rural Women’s Award Alumni Chair Catherine Marriott (centre right).
