Startup Shakeup’s Lead Digital Coaching Facilitator Bree Nightingale and Program Coordinator, Sarah Parker supported the Benalla Future Work Summit, facilitating break out sessions.
Over seventy people from business, industry, employment, all levels of government and community agencies including Startup Shakeup’s Bree and Sarah attended the Benalla Future Work Summit.
As a result of significant economic growth over the past 4 years, Benalla Rural City Council has recently undertaken analysis and research into future job opportunities and identified areas and skills to be able to meet future work and industry growth.
Attendees at the Benalla Future Work Summit heard the results and learnt more about the Benalla Future Work Research titled the Benalla ‘Deep Dive’ which was conducted in 2020/21 and presented by leading Associate Professor Dr Geraldine Kennett, MBA Director, LaTrobe University.
This was followed by breakout sessions where attendees brainstormed solutions to current challenges under nine key emerging themes.

Bree and Sarah facilitated the ESSENTIAL DIGITAL READINESS skills and Having an enterprising & STARTUP READY ATTITUDE breakout sessions.
The notes, break out group ideas and video footage will go up soon on the HIVE online portal soon for feedback, with details to be provided soon.
