The modern world is constantly evolving, with new digital developments all the time. Our Digital Connections programs are tailor-made, working with trusted organisations on the ground, giving business back time whilst they learn on the go.

The digital world is full of opportunities, but this can feel overwhelming when you don’t have the time – which is why we build time-efficient programs showing you how to create a digitally enabled business, even when you’re not digitally minded.

How does it work?

Digital Connections is a partnership with local business groups and networks to support digital skills that are lasting. Each program is personalised to focus on what each group needs digitally.

Current programs include

Community connections digital workshops, digital skill building and training;
Individual digital business coaching and ongoing general digital education;
Focused programs e.g. cyber safety and cloud based working;
Website and booking system audits, upgrades and creation of website shopping streams;
Business events advertising and dedicated directory listings.

In 2023 – 2024 Digital Connections is being offered across North East and Hume Regions of Victoria

My biggest ‘aha’ moment is that the start up journey doesn’t need to be a lonely one; shared joy is double joy. Through the incubator model - I have gained so much from weekly sessions with likeminded individuals all riding the same start-up wave; sharing in the joy from everyone’s little wins, having a focus group at my fingertips, and accessing masterclasses and weekly content that has been invaluable in my start-up journey.

StartUp ShakeUp has given me the confidence and tools to stand in front of an audience and speak and present my business. A very special thanks to Amelia Hartley for her incredible support at any time any day. StartUp ShakeUp can be a stepping stone for any up coming business or idea or to revamp an existing business by giving a fresh outlook.

The Startup Shakeup Regional Skills Network is such an incredible asset to businesses in the North East. As part of the Startup Shakeup incubator I have had regular access to incredible resources including our fantastic mentor who has been invaluable on this journey as well as a session with StoryUp who provided me with an absolutely timely and on pointe coaching session on my story and the art of pitching. I have no doubt as I move forward with my start-up that I will be back seeking coaching with other valuable resources including social media, marketing and technology.

My daughter and I are starting up our own business, which is exciting, but can also be overwhelming as there is so much to learn and do! Startup Shakeup’s incubator program gave me the tools, insights and connections that I needed to set me confidently on my way.
